The Akron Phi Kappa Tau Foundation operates as a strictly separate alumni entity, organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service. This vital structural distinction ensures transparency and allows our alumni to maximize their impact through tax-deductible donations and employer corporate matching programs.

Beyond managing funds, our goal is to build a self-sustaining infrastructure that elevates the undergraduate experience. Whether through direct academic scholarships or funding dedicated educational spaces within the chapter, the Foundation is the primary engine for the chapter's intellectual and philanthropic growth.
